    Leah Howard, LGPC

Leah practices in Maryland as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. She enjoys working with clients that have experienced trauma. Her target populations are teens and young adults with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, adjustment issues, and relationship concerns. Leah incorporates an eclectic approach to therapy to ensure clients receive services tailored to their needs. Some of the modalities and interventions she uses to help clients achieve their goals are CBT, interpersonal, strength-based, and mindfulness-based therapy. With these techniques, Leah creates a space for clients to learn the importance of self-care and personal advocacy. She is caring, motivated, and ready to aid clients on their healing journey by improving well-being and encouraging clients to live at their optimal potential.

Leah received her Bachelor’s degree from Savannah State University in Behavioral Analysis and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Bellevue University.
