    Kendra Woolley, LCSW-C

    Kendra has spent her career working with teens, young adults, children, and their families. She has experience with providing outpatient therapy, school-based therapy, treatment foster care, and crisis response. She has treated clients facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and an array of family issues. Kendra uses an eclectic approach within sessions, believing that each client is unique and requires a process tailored to their needs. She incorporates practice modalities such as play therapy, behavior management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practices, and a family systems perspective. As a social worker, she feels it is important to follow the client’s lead in educating her about who they are and works with the client using a solution-focused process.

    Kendra holds a deep respect and awareness of the courage it takes for each client to enter into the therapeutic process. She also desires to help each client reach their individual goals in a safe and supportive setting.


    Education:

    She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. She then attended Bryn Mawr College of Social Work and Social Research in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, where she received her Master’s degree in Social Work. Kendra has been a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland since 2003, and a Board Approved Supervisor since 2004.
