    Beyond Healing Counseling & Consultation, LLC., a group mental health practice located in Germantown, MD, is looking for part-time and full-time therapists to join our practice. We specialize in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, evidence-based therapy serving both private pay and insurance-based clients. At Beyond Healing we assist the clients with creating their own path to healing. As a team, we stay connected through weekly consultation and are a dedicated and collaborative team of clinicians, supervisors, and trainers. We believe in offering a collaborative, supportive environment for our team and our clients.

    Requirements are:
    • Current State of Maryland license as LCPC, LGPC, LGSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, LMFT, Psychologist, PsyD, PMHNP
    • Willing to work 20 hours per week for part-time or 28 hours per week full-time
    • Minimum 3 years post-licensure
    • Preferred: Paneled with insurance companies (BCBS, Cigna, Humana, Medicaid)
    • Preferred: private practice experience
    Skills needed:
    • Solid clinical diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication and collaboration
    • A positive and optimistic attitude that can handle flexibility and change
    • Organizational skills and ability to manage patient records
    • Self-discipline and ability to set priorities in regards to documentation
    • Comfort with electronic records and use of technology
    • Compassion, humor, respect, and patience for clients and colleagues
    Required education:

    Masters or Doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

    The ideal candidate is a fully licensed clinician in the State of Maryland with 3 years post-masters experience, preferably with private practice experience. The ideal candidate has experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults. Ideal members of our team will be comfortable working M-F with two evenings minimum. A Masters degree and an independent license are required for this position. Therapists at Beyond Healing deliver quality, ethical, and genuine mental health services to clients that have experienced trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, difficulty adjusting, and family issues. Potential therapists must have the ability to form strong, trusting therapeutic relationships.

    We will consider extremely well-qualified provisionally licensed candidates on a case-by-case basis. Clinical supervision is provided.

    It is preferable that our therapists have a specialty, such as trauma, play therapy, children and teens, young adults, couples, military families, groups, etc. Beyond Healing is able to provide a consistent flow of referrals.
