Leah Howard, LCPC
Leah is a veteran of the United States Army who practices in Maryland as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. Her target populations are teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, adjustment issues, and relationship concerns. Leah’s eclectic approach to therapy fosters a person-centered approach that encourages client self-advocacy and positive psychology. She also incorporates CBT, interpersonal, strength-based, and mindfulness-based therapy to help clients achieve their treatment goals. With these techniques, Leah creates a space for clients to learn the importance of self-care and personal advocacy.
She is caring, motivated, and ready to collaborate with clients on their healing journey and seeks to help improve client well-being encouraging each client to live an optimal life.
Leah received her Bachelor’s degree from Savannah State University in Behavioral Analysis and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Bellevue University.
